Mummy & Me is a supportive, culturally sensitive programme designed for mums-to-be, new mums, and those with young children, offering a space to connect, learn and thrive.
The project originally began in 2016 as Wee Steps – a weekly group supporting mothers and young children through play, shared learning, and community connection. Over the tears, Wee Steps provided:
Building on this strong foundation, the project has since evolved to better meet the changing needs of families.
In 2024, Wee Steps was re-launched as Mummy & Me – a more focused and holistic programme aimed at supporting mothers’ wellbeing while recognising the importance of culture, identity, and community.

We recognise that some mums need additional support. Through Mummy & Me, we offer confidential counselling sessions, one-to-one support, and small group sessions.
These sessions aim to support mums experiencing isolation, low mood, anxiety, or other challenges, helping them feel heard, supported, and empowered. We actively work with professionals and accept referrals from:
