RISE Forth Valley is a community-driven initiative dedicated to promoting racial inclusion and empowering racialised communities in the Forth Valley region. Our mission is to create a more equitable and inclusive society by addressing systemic barriers, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and amplifying the voices of those who have been historically marginalised. Through a range of programs and advocacy efforts, we strive to build a Forth Valley where everyone can thrive, regardless of their racial or ethnic background.
Our aim is to bring together different parts of our community to:
⦁ Become a central learning hub for educational classes and workshops for the ethnic minority and wider community, promoting unity and awareness of social responsibility.
⦁ Provide practical and social support to members of the local community especially those facing isolation and discrimination through outreach services.
⦁ Develop communication skills amongst ethnic minority youths and adults to enable them to become confident members of the Scottish society they live in.
⦁ Provide a positive understanding and awareness of race and equality to the wider community to build better relations.

Promoting anti-racism, we will: ⦁ Empower Communities: Provide resources and opportunities for racialised communities to thrive. ⦁ Advocate for Equality: Challenge systemic discrimination and promote fairness. ⦁ Foster Inclusion: Create inclusive environments where diversity is celebrated. ⦁ Support Development: Offer programs for personal and professional growth. ⦁ Promote Awareness: Raise awareness about anti-racism and engage the broader community. ⦁ Collaborate for Change: Partner with organisations to drive collective action for equity.
An equal and inclusive Scotland where all communities are enabled and empowered as equal citizens, achieving their potential in progressing Scottish life at all levels.
